Below is a .NET Developer opportunity we currently have available in Syracuse. This is an approximately 2 to 3 month contract opportunity and our client is looking to interview and hire immediately. Please see below for further details and qualifications.

Description:

· .NET Developer to lead internal and external client projects with Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications.

· The successful candidate will demonstrate command of object oriented design concepts and be able to perform at the highest levels in a fast-paced environment.

· The successful .NET candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the .NET framework and standard class libraries.

· Provides written design documents, test plans and test results.

· Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.

· Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of applications.

· Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.



Responsibilities:

· Design, plan, recommend, develop, and/or implement object-oriented project specific software solutions to meet tactical, reliability, performance, and security requirements.

· Assume accountability for the successful completion of assigned projects and tasks with adherence to established standards, procedures, and processes as identified by the company.

· Formulate and recommend technical specifications and provide professional consultation and guidance to team members.

REQUIREMENTS

· Minimum of 2-4 years development experience.

· Design and software architecture experience for large enterprise application.

· Advanced C# skills.

· Intermediate ASP.NET skills.

· Significant experience with JavaScript, Windows forms, webservices, XML, object-oriented design, IIS, and data architecture required.

· Web and Windows Client application development experience.

· Business and/or System Analyst experience.

· Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.







Preferred (not necessary):
Bachelor degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.

· MS Commerce Server experience

· MCSD certification in .NET.

· VB.NET development experience.

· C++ and/or Java experience.

· VB, ASP, XML, HTML, CGI, Perl and/or PHP experience

· Proven exceptional "soft" skills in communication, customer service, teamwork, and adherence to technical standards and procedures
