With the new magnetic behavior, does this mean we can create an object like a planet and a star and make the planet orbit the star?

I don't think the magnetic behavior would help you with that. You might be able to use a couple of Joints between the planet and the star - but even then that would only work from a "top down" view. -Andy

It would be nice if you could create an object and give it its own gravity, then have have other objects in the scene be attacted to it just like the ground, but from all directions. Then you could get the orbiting planet effect, I suppose.
